Simply – it works great. Dries super fast. Use small amounts. Yes there is an odor.Let me elaborate more. I read several reviews. Some liked it and some didn’t. Some people may have been impatient with it and just gave up on it too quickly. Others may have not liked the color and certainly one should be aware of what you are placing over it afterwards. For me it was painting with a solid color. Some may not have liked it due it hardening so fast. If you mix a lot, you might be wasting a lot due to it hardening fast.First off when I opened the can I thought it would be fuller like paint cans. The can I had, wasn’t. Was this by design, I don’t know. Just wanted to let you know in case you observe the same. When mixing the contents from the can use small portions. Mostly because it hardens so fast. The hardener you mix with it, really only a ‘little dab will do ya’. I think the directions said use a bead the length of the diameter of the filler material from the can but really I only used a pea size for maybe 2†diameter material. It still hardens fast. I mixed it with a small stick. Really Popsicle sticks would work great but I didn’t have them. Applying the mix you want to do right away. One reviewer mentioned using a bag like a baker would for frosting. I tried it and failed. Too much fuss to get it in the bag and then try to squeeze it out into the gap. Just plain messy. I used small sticks broken from paint stir sticks to apply it. It was alright but whatever you choose, note that this stuff will harden to that as well so have other sticks available. To fill the gap I was working on it took maybe 6-10 mixes using small portions. The final application was dry in about 15 minutes and ready for sanding. I used a utility knife to shave bumps and edges off and then used 80 grit sandpaper followed by 100-150 grit.As far as color. Mine was a yellowish/golden color. Some reviews said it was green. I noticed some green color when mixing which makes me wonder if they used too much hardener which seemed a bit blue in color.

This works great and was easy to sand to get my desired result. There were no instructions though. Work quickly because it starts hardening fast. It has a super bad smell so make sure to use outdoors!

I restore antique furniture and do remodeling projects around the house and I keep Bondo on hand. The product works well. The price on Amazon is better than home improvement stores. Great product!

This works the same as automotive filler and dye powder can be added. The only downside is the tiny tube of hardener which is enough if making large batches but when making several small batches, getting the right amount of hardener is difficult so there is wasted hardener from ratio being wrong, though filer still function, it kicks to hard much quicker when too much hardener is added.

This is my go-to wood filler for any and all types of blemishes such as gashes, splintering, holes, and even rippled surfaces. It is easy to work with and doesn't dry as quickly as the Bondo for automobiles. It is ready to sand within 15-20 minutes in warm weather—obviously, colder weather results in longer drying times. Sanding wood bondo-ed areas down smooth is also much easier than the original Bondo. If you have ever worked with it then you know my struggle reference. Say goodbye to wood putty and wood shavings mixed with wood glue. You will never use those wood fillers again after trying this wood Bondo. Mix it according to the directions on the can. Bondo and a tube of hardener are included in this purchase. A little goes a long way.

Not sure the difference between this and regular bondo other than the color. It still stinks until it’s cured but cures more green instead of red or blue. I’d planned to use regular bondo until I saw this “for woodâ€. To me it’s green bondo. Bondo is a great filler and it sands easily and smoothly.

Had a rotten board on my deck. Removed the rotten wood and replaced with the bondo. Worked instantly. Painted over and looks great.

It arrived with only Spanish language instructions. I’ve used bondo for years so I knew the deal, but if this was your first purchase, and don’t know Spanish it could be a problem.
