I needed this color to fix the rosewood handle on a knife I have, and it worked perfect. I've used it on a few other project, and it has worked nicely. The jar has two lids, so the filler will not dry out very easy.

Out dresser is 60-70 years old...and the veneer on the front section has dried out over time and now is starting to chip...in multiple locations. This worked pretty well to fill in the holes. It has a drier, putty texture that made it easy to put into place without having to lay the dresser down flat. Just take small amounts and press into place...and then smooth it out and let it dry. Was it a perfect match for the color, not really, the dresser wood has some darker streaks running thru it...so nothing will ever match perfectly. But I did take a black marker and make some squiggly lines and then kind of smeared them...looks pretty close. As I said, this is a very old, old dresser...I do not like painted wood, if it can be helped...and this help keep it around a long time. Passed down from family...it means a lot to me.

I tried the "name brand" fillers that dried white and advertised as accepting stain. Guess what? They repelled the stain. I tried to salvage the job but ended up sanding off the lacquer and stain, digging out the filler and applying this. Worked well. I think it is best to use a color filler that is near to the color of the stain you are using. And I was not paid for or given a free product to give my thoughts.
