It’s a great tool. Yo don’t even touch the fish. Hook out quick without injury. I recommend this one over the others. Made for saltwater. Make sure you tye a string thru the handle just in case it slips out of your hand. Drill a hole thru your cutting board and you can put it there.

This thing is sturdy and works exactly how it should. The price seems a little high for a bent piece of wire with a plastic handle, but if I lost it, I'd order the same one again.I like that this model lets you "push" or "pull" the hook depending on how the fish is hooked. It's also plenty long to keep your fingers away from sharp teeth, or unhook a fish that took the hook deep.

Works very well removing hooks either from the lip or reaching in for hooks deeper in the mouth.

Flips catfish right off the hook with no fuss. Does not corrode after saltwater exposure.
