The nippers are sharp and solid. The blades are replaceable and resharpen-able. Make nice gifts.

I bought these specifically for winter steelhead fishing when the weather is just beastie cold out.Sometimes it’s hard to use your fine motor skills in your hands, these nips are great..!! Good clean cut on fluorocarbon lines.. RECOMMEND

have everything from $400 Able nippers to $.50 nail clippers and these are just as solid as any high-end nippers

The cutting system consists of 1 sharp blade and a flat anvil surface. So it’s unable to cut line close the hook eye.

I bet I’ve bought 6 different kinds of braid cutters over the last year. I had a pair of fishing pliers with braid cutters on the side that worked pretty dang good. If this little pair holds up, they will be the cats meow!!
