This was an impulse purchase and it was a good one. Very sturdy fish holder, large enough to hold a good size fish (as if we ever actually catch one, that is). Easy to use with good grips. Good addition to a fishing tackle box.

My granddaughters (5&6) love to fish, but do not like to touch the fish. These are great for them. They can hold the fish still and take the hook out with these.

These are a good idea for using with a small to medium size fish. I like that it gives you a firmer grip on the fish and makes it easier to remove the hook. Since most of our fishing is catch and release, I like that the three claws distribute the pressure across a larger area on the fish, because I don't want to kill or hurt the fish. These are also nice for those people that don't like the "slimy, slippery" feel of a fish.

I can’t believe how much I like this device! I’ve used it to hold stocked trout when removing the hook and it made the process so much easier as it holds the fish firmly. No more slipping out of my hand - definitely worth the price paid so far.

This is a nice tool to hold/grab fish for kids or maybe adults with kids who fish but don’t like holding fish themselves! My only complaint is that you need large hands to fully open the tool, it is hard for small kid hands or even my hands as an adult woman to get them to open as wide as a bigger fish could be. Would be no issue if you have larger hands though!

When the fish is bigger in size, this helps tremendously with holding the fish while getting the hook out!
