Nicely designed, looks high quality for price. So far in my limited use they have done well, we'll see how they hold up over time.

As another reviewer mentioned, the locking mechanism locks the pliers when in use. I just removed the sliding mechanism and they work fine.

While just a bit clanky-shaped, these pliers are perfect in the workshop, when you need a non-magnetic holder for a screw or nail. It's way frustrating trying to screw an inverted wall magnet into a surface and the objects magnetism keeps futzing with the steel screwdriver head. These pliers, being strong but not magnetic are pretty good for assisting. The shape is meant for a fisher person of which I am not, so it's not the typical bow shape like household pliers. But the extreme convenience in the workshop has encouraged me to purchase at least 6.

They're Lightweight seem durable so time will tell on durability, but for the price are pretty good. Fast shipping too was nice
