I realize these are meant to be standalone booty shorts for exercise, beach settings, whatever, but they are pretty revealing to be used that way except by the very brave. However, my wife loves these for wearing under her shorts during workouts. They provide plenty of support and stay in place much better than generic cotton panties. The material is rather tough spandex with a solid feel to them. Definitely could be worn by themselves. But not bad as workout short liners either. My wife also said they are great for wearing under a short skirt. Plenty of privacy coverage, but they don't look frumpy like granny panties. Hope this review helps!

Love the feel of these shorts, but for sure super super short booty shorts. If you have the body to rock them, go for it girl!!! I'm 5'11 and 145 lbs and went with a small. They feel great on and fit my waist perfectly, but were so short on me I don't think I would wear them out in public. I have been wearing them in my own gym and sauna and my BF said they look awesome and asked if they were actually lingerie haha.I will say they do give you a great lift, but again I think I had more butt and leg out then covered. If you're not a modest person and have a killer body, go show these off. For now, I'll just keep to my own house for either sleep shorts or the sauna. Really nice material and the packaging was simple but looked nice. Go for it if you think you can rock it in public or just enjoy them at home...
