This could have been my greatest Brake Pad replacement for speed & ease. It unsettles me to have extra parts after completing assembly & brakes are no exception! The 16 shim clips were intuitive enough (barely) & I separated those to use the wider set of 8 for fitting 2011 Sequoia rear brakes. Then I came back to the 2 different clips (circled in pic). They look like wear-detector or squeal alert sensors. I could not find anywhere to install these & called Bosch to find them closed on weekends. Next, I watched their install videos - great info but skips these pieces. Searching another hour online left me just as clueless & more annoyed. Returning to finish the brakes, now nightfall & below freezing - I completed install without the 2 clips. I feel confident these pads are excellent & I think they SHOULD BE 5 STARS! They are working well with no signs of noise & dust. Got the same brand, BC1303 for the fronts & will look at those more closely before installing. Had other Ceramic Pads & chose these to see if they will last longer. Chose these too because the previous rotors I installed were also Bosch.

This is a great set of pads by Bosch. I purchased a hardware set separately because I didn't realize the slider pins were included. Thank God they were because the hardware set I bought had the wrong length pins even though it said it would fit a 2013 Tundra. This set come with everything you need and is all the correct parts that fit a 2013 Toyota Tundra.

A little noisy at first, the clips did not exactly fit bad created metal scrape noise. After significant adjustment I got it to quiet down without scraping. I have slotted rotors as these pads were scuffing and wearing in about the first 50 miles. I set the pads with 3 hard stops from 50mph.About a week in - They are fantastic now - no noise. Stopping power has significantly improved.

Install went smoothly after watching an online tutorial on installation. I’m in no way a mechanic but found putting these pads on quite easy. All the necessary pieces were included.
