Was skeptical because picture of product was just a drawing and not real photos. Intend to use this to bust up compacted limestone in old driveways. I've used 3inch chisels and 5inch clay spades on 35 pound hammers in past for same task, but the chisels are sometimes hard to draw back out if you go down in more than a few inches, and the clay spades are too wide when the stone is too compacted. like the idea the blade length runs longer on this and wont trap. Now it has arrived and the blade is very thick, like a cold chisel profile. No disappointments expected but haven't used it yet.

The product came in perfect condition I still have not been able to use it yet but im sure it will live up to the BOsch name

I bought this because we had to dig a 100 ft foundation ditch through soft rock. It was too tough for a clay spade, but too inefficient when using a standard chisel bit. This bit was just right. It let us easily make a nice rectangular ditch though a mix of limestone, sandstone and clay. Every hammer operator was impressed by its performance. I plan to use this bit a lot in the future.

Not only is this great for cutting thick asphalt, it works wonderfully cutting tree roots. Highly-recommended.
