2008 BMW Z4 3.0Si - the original thermostat broke while replacing the coolant overflow tank. The plastic clip on the OEM broke and wouldn't go back together. This replacement arrived on time and was a perfect 1:1 replacement.

So fortunately while I was changing the Radiator Overflow Container I noticed this piece below in the lower tubing. OEM was same construction of plastic which being in that environment constantly became brittle. The design is actually more disappointing on BMW reputation. But the part itself works....
