It’s a mount. It doesn’t have to be sexy but it has to work and feel secure. This is both sexy and VERY robust. They include the little things like hole caps and foam screw pads. The adhesive tape attached to the steel mount is high quality, thick, compliant 3M tape. I wouldn’t change a thing about this product other then I paid ~$20 and that still seems a little steep.5/5 because it was so easy to install and very was made with great raw materials.

Works great. I didn't use the adhesive and just screwed these in. Perfect size for what I needed and I like that they can be placed further apart if needed for something like a laptop. I'm confident these will hold my amplifier to the bottom of my desk. I also like that this comes with soft pads to put on the metal brackets so that when you're sliding your device in and out of them your device doesn't get all scratched up. Will buy again if I need to mount anything else like my amp under the desk.

Screws provided are countersunk but the metal isn't. The little plastic cover looks bad.I just drilled out a counter sink myself and then used the felt covers. Looks way better! Should come like this.

The adhesive is not strong enough to hold up a laptop under a table. After a few days, the aggressive failed and my laptop ended up on the floor.

The brackets used on the sides need to be longer to accommodate POWER, USB and HDMI plugins . . . those are usually placed on the sides of laptops. Otherwise, you're forced to place the laptop in a certain way so that those plugins don't align with the bracket(s). This is a big deal if space is limited and you're putting 2 laptops in there.
