I tried a couple different car mounts and this was the most sturdy and is made out of great quality material. The stand rotates 360 and it tilts up and down. If you need to make it shorter, you can remove one of the arms, more suitable for a sedan.

Very durable and securely holds my MDT in place without issues. It has several different adjustable positions to fit my needs. My car is mid-size yet I can have a passenger in the seat next to me and they are comfortable while the stand and MDT are in place.

Don’t buy. The base is decent but the main part it swivels on is a horrible design where your laptop will spin and wobble no matter how you tighten the handle screw. It’s not good when brand new and it will get worse with wear. No way to adjust and tighten it at different points. Trust me avoid this for laptop. May be decent for a tablet because of the design, but avoid for laptop.

The user guide they included does say to use the passenger seat as a brace but I ended up designing a part to keep it more stable.There are a few issues with this product other than its stability. For starters, the way the table actually moves is a little weird. You’d expect to be able to rotate the table on a horizontal axis but you can’t, the mount allows for all other axis but a swivel horizontally.It did install relatively easily but it took a lot of trial and error to get the right part combinations for a solid fit.I do like that it can easily be removed when not needed. The computer table is also light and compact if you’re using a smaller laptop. Other trays I’ve seen are huge and take up too much space.It’s one of those things you set up once, dial it in, and hope you never have to set it up again.Aside from the bounciness of the device, it stays in place well enough. I had no problem working on it the two days I was on the road.I’ll be keeping this product but it might not be suitable for everyone due to its bounciness.

This computer mount is great when set up and installed properly. However, if you are like me and don't want your laptop open at all times this mount needs improvement. Also, if you like removing your laptop daily, this is a pain. There has to be a vehicle mount that makes removal simple and this is not that mount. If you are someone who leaves your laptop in your vehicle at all times and keeps it open all of the time and never closes it, this mount is excellent for the money. You can not close your laptop due to the tabs holding your laptop in place, which is necessary, and if you let your screen lay against these tabs, it can and will damage your screen. There has to be a better design for temporary use like me and others.

Currently using product to hold a laptop in car. It is a very large unit (using it in a 2 door nissan altima) and the arms have to be fully compressed and folded. I do have room for a passenger to sit comfortably under the laptop while in the car and, it is still able to sit low enough as to not block the view of the road. Very easy to adjust wherever you need it.
