RAM-VB-193-SW1
This RAM No-Drill laptop stand system installs quickly and easily into a variety of Chevrolet and GMC vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails. This configuration provides a telescoping feature that ranges from 12” to 18”. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12” of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. RAM rubber ball and socket technology provides additional adjustability as well as shock and vibration isolation. The spring-loaded RAM Tough-Tray laptop holder accommodates 10” to 16” wide laptops, and 17” wide screens. The tray features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grips that can be moved both vertically and horizontally. These arms allow for a custom fit for laptops of varying thickness while not blocking drives or ports. A screen support and USB light are also available to accessorize the RAM Tough-Tray.

I'm a Tile Contractor and since I work with General Contractors and most of the jobs with their documents, plans, scheduling, everything is online now, having my laptop mobile with me has become a must. The Ram mount is perfect! It's heavy duty yet still looks great in my 2016 Chevy Silverado truck. The install at first seems a little tricky. But it's actually very easy. It helps a great deal to watch the video. I wanted it done right because My truck still looks brand new so I read the instructions and watched the video! All you need is a socket wrench set and I did need a larg Torx bit for the seat bolts. That's it. I love my Ram mount and a couple weeks later I bought the screen support and the flat clamping arm kit. Perfect!

This is a superb quality product. I installed it in my GMC truck with minimal difficulty. Be sure to watch all of the videos on youtube before attempting to install. The instructions are not great. BE SURE to install the first pole mount to the seat plate BEFORE installing the plate under the seat. Otherwise you will have to repeat the hardest step of the installation. I would recommend hands down. This could have been slightly cheaper, but still a quality product.

As a PM for a civil construction company, I live in my company pickup. This mount allows me to safely, easily and comfortably use my computer while onsite. It's sturdy, intelligently designed, and doesn't impede someone riding shotgun. Highly Recommend.

The product has been designed very well but the directions were very unhelpful. This product says it is made of '14-'19 Chevrolet Silverados, but we encountered several issues trying to install it into our '14 3500WT, perhaps the WT is set up differently than the others. The base is made to sit underneath the seat hooks however on this model of truck there are not any hooks just bolts, the mounting plate doesn't sit flush to the floor of the truck.

Don’t buy. Doesn’t work properly In the vehicle. I bought it for a 2019 Silverado. Poor fit. When I returned it, I only got a partial credit. I was aware of the shipping return cost but not an additional fee being charged. Don’t wast your time.

It was Easy to Install and Works Perfectly. It's Not Intrusive when I have Passengers Either. Very Fast to Remove the Tray and Very Sturdy when Using it. It doesn't Shake around when you Driving Either, Very Solid and Very Nice...

I ordered the RAM VB-193-SW1, which came with missing screws & instructions for mounting the ball mount that the laptop desk sits on. So I called the vendor, Ram Mounts, and was told to "take pictures and send to support@rammount.com and once they determine that I am missing screws they will send within 1 - 2 weeks!!! He then went on to say that Ram Mounts has ZERO INVENTORY of everything they sell and orders are sent out for manufacture! This is missing (4) #10 screws and (4) #10 nuts - and this is going to take ONE to TWO WEEKS TO RECEIVE??? When I told him that I work for a living and needed this desk to do my work he suggested I disassemble the entire desk and return to Amazon!Next the instructions contain NO written words other than their name and a warning to keep it out of any airbags’ way. They also fail to mention any order in which to assemble these in, and I would STRONGLY recommend that you install the pole mount base onto the seat base before installing the base, otherwise you’ll be installing the base twice! LOLOverall I would have to buy this unit again, it’s the most stout mount on the market and has the best reviews, but buyer beware. Make sure you have ALL the parts before assembling because there is no customer support! If there was ANYTHING near as stout I wouldn’t be a customer simply because of the support policies!

Installed this into a 2018 Silverado 1500 LT, fits but the screws in entire unit are cheap and strip...also the pain in trying to get screws into recessed holes is a charm, like trying to thread a needle. there is no way to get a washer and then screw on top of spring....for the money i paid expected everything to fit like a glove and be secure in every way, now with movement of truck and the cheap screws i am left to wonder when they will just fall out....disappointed to say the least.
