If you use multiple computers/laptops or have a setup where your laptop uses multiple monitors then this mount is for you. You can easily free up desk space by attaching this laptop holder to any VESA mount to customize your workspace. I have a macbook pro, an external monitor for it, and a pc with an ultrawide monitor all lined up on my desk so I can handle different types of files for my clients without having to adjust my workspace to each project. Pair this with a KVM switch and you can toggle your keyboard and mouse between devices seamlessly. This holder is well-built, easy to use, and sturdy but I do wish it could securely clamp down on a thin macbook. I have no problems using it with my stationary stand and the laptop sits securely but I wouldn't recommend using this with a jointed stand. I don't imagine it will be a problem for many people but if your stand is in a place where your laptop could get bumped into then I'd suggest securing it in place with some extra padding or thicker anti-slip grips.

I work from home and am always experiencing with new setups for my standing desk. I have a dual monitor mount, where the left side has an external monitor and the right side has a laptop mount.I've been using a Wali laptop mount for several months now, and you can see it side by side with this one. I liked the idea of the Ultrarm's better ventilation, but it's significantly smaller.Pros:- super easy, convenient installation with the finger screws- very sturdy once attached- made of sufficiently thick, strong metal- nice fit and finish- good pads where it comes into contact with laptop- very quick and easy to place or remove the laptop- allows good ventilationCons:- relatively small surface area for the laptop to sit on- no side brackets to prevent left/right movement- the bottom brackets are strong, but they did not adjust low enough to actually secure the laptop

Heavy duty product that should hold up to a lot of use. I tried this on a could of different arms in a couple of different set ups, and it fits fine, but I did need to enlarge the holes on one of the Vesa plates to 1/4" (6mm) in order to use the included hardware, the other arm's plate was already filled with the correct size for this to use on it. Other than that the holder was easy to install, and it works pretty well for it's intended purpose. I found it to be syrup enough for my laptop, but you have to adjust the angle with the adjustments on your monitor arm, since this product has no adjustments for angle other than being able to mount in two directions for laptop or keyboard use. Overall it is a good solid item, and is worth your consideration.

The screws that come with the tray do not fit on either of my two arm mounts. Nowhere in the description does it mention this. The screws that come with the tray are M6 and my arms are M4. Maybe add this information in the description to save people the trouble of having to send it back.Overall, it seems like a very sturdy tray; if it would fit, it would probably be fine.

This laptop tray is interesting in that it can be attached to monitor mounts. It can be attached to the plate in one of two positions. There are rubber pieces to keep from scratching your device. It is a bit wobbly when I type. It's made of metal and rubber. It is strong and durable.I ran into trouble with the assembly. The screws were too big to fit the plate on the mount. Luckily, I had another plate to try. It fit that one. So, be aware that the screws might be too big for some brands. It's possible to get something from the hardware store if needed. I think it could have used more rubber pieces in the corners, but it isn't a deal breaker for me.The laptop tray can hold a lot of weight. The bottom pieces are meant to hold the device in place. I think they could have been slightly longer for adjustment, but it fits flush the way it is. The tray is lightweight and sturdy.This tray worked out well for my uses, so I can't complain too much. It is a unique stand that can convert a monitor stand to a laptop stand. It saves from having to purchase more expensive mounts. The price is competitive too. I'm satisfied with the product, but the screws being too big could be a problem for some customers.

Screws provided are 6mm diameter and standard VESA mount holes are 4mm diameter. This wont work without drilling VESA mount

This is a great quality laptop tray for my VESA monitor arm. It is steel and comes off as well-made, not much else to it.I will say though, that the hardware included lines up perfectly with the holes. Sometimes products like these include bad/cheap hardware that makes it a pain to install, but luckily I did not have to deal with that.
