Allowed me to store my laptop underneath my desk. The instructions don't match the foam bits in the package, but they're fine for protecting the laptop. I used all of them.

It's three pieces of metal bent into shape, and they give you foam padding so you can stick it on the bracket. Wonder why it was not pre-installed as there is literally only one way to do it. The worst part is the installation. They had the good idea to give you adhesive pads so you can temporarily stick the bracket to where the laptop would fit. It would have been great if they included actual adhesive pads, rather than the garbage double sided tape they gave. in the picture the small white paper with three circular adhesive tape is all you get, and the double sided tape is so thin that it doesn't even contact your desk surface if the metal was ever is slightly bent. As soon as you take your hand off it, it falls off. Never stays in place. If I had to hold it with my hand the whole time while getting screws and screw drivers ready, what was the point of the adhesive padding if at all? Absolutely horrendous and made the installation process way harder than it should have been. Good concept but terrible execution.

I've had a few items from Mount-It!, and while they aren't always impressive, they do fulfill the need. These brackets had some thought go into them. The access holes are well placed, not sacrificing structure but still allowing easy mounting. The screws they provide are cheap (most people do this, so I'm not surprised), so you may want to find some good ones or pre-drill if going into solid wood. The product can be used for many different applications like they show in their pictures. If you had a couple thin laptops you wanted docked on a KVM, you could totally do it. A little pricey, but innovative.

I have a sit/stand desktop at home that has limited desktop space. I also have a laptop that, when placed on the desktop, takes up a bit of room that would be more valuable if used in other ways. This under desk laptop mount totally addresses the problem and keeps the laptop easy to reach and access. There are three brackets (2 used for the sides of the laptop, and one in the back), with each held in place using 2 screws. I mounted this using the simple instructions and now I can easily slide my laptop in and out as I need to and I have reclaimed my desktop space. I will note that you might want to drill pilot holes before adding the screws, but that will depend on the type of desk top you have.Hope this review helps you make a decision - this does exactly what I wanted it to!

this product is great if you are a bit low on storage capacity, although bear in mind that it will create permanent holes in the underside of your desk, not to mention that it would be ideal to get the placement of everything right the first time. Although if you do put this up right, it really is a great space saver and a practical and accessible storage system for any device.
