This product works as described and is sturdy. I do feel the price is a bit higher than necessary.

I ordered these brackets and another clear lucite alternative to see which I'd like better. While the lucite was prettier and less noticeable, the Brainwavz mounts were much sturdier (and less likely to crack or scratch). Be aware that if you have an older MacBook Pro, like I do, you will not be able to mount the laptop horizontally as a couple of the ports (including the lightning power connection) will be blocked by the bracket. To solve this, I mounted my laptop vertically with all the ports on top. This worked fine and the laptop is secure. Please note, It's a bit challenging to get the brackets exactly vertical. Even with a level and wall markings, you are at the mercy of your drilling skills. If the hole isn't absolutely on point and your anchors exactly aligned, your bracket will be slightly crooked. There is no play in the screw hole on the bracket to shift the bracket even a smidgeon. I recommend you make a fake laptop with paper to use as your guide. Tape that to the wall to see where exactly you want the laptop to be. Use a level. Then you can create another sheet of paper that represents the brackets. That's what I did and punctured starter holes right through the paper. Ultimately, it worked out well and I really like the laptop on the wall under my desk with the wiring hidden.

These brackets allow for good ventilation of our laptop. However, we found it difficult to ensure that they are level with each other (would have been easier if the 2 pieces were attached somehow).But we got it close enough to level and it does the job reasonably well.

The design should be modified so both sides can be completely open to allow for any connection option depending on location of ports. I had to flip my laptop the other way so I could plug in a USB cable because it was blocked between openings. Also the 3M adhesive works almost too well and will require goo gone to soak for a bit before it lets up. Next time I’d just go with anchors and screws and patch after if I need to move it

It’s hard to trust adhesive… but these have worked great for me. I had to get creative with space and I love being able to have my macbook near me. I did screw the screws in just because but I really didn’t need to, it’s still attached very firmly and doesn’t move at all if I try to wiggle it. Also, they’ve been on my wall for months now. Would recommend.

Mounted it to some clear plexi then hung it from the wall next to my desk. Gets it off my cluttered desk.Mounts feel solid.A little warping on the tape side, but the foam is thick enough to form the fit. Plus I used some machine screws into the plexi for a bit of reassurance.

I wanted a way to clear my desk to create more space and give a cleaner look. Found these brackets which can attach with the supplied screws or 3M adhesive. I used the adhesive strips and now my desk has more space and looks cleaner.

I bought this expecting a professionally manufactured product, what I got was a couple of 3D printed parts. Doesn't even appear to be an appropriate resin either, just cheap old PLA. If I wanted a crap 3D print I could have done it myself for a 10th of the cost.Not amused.
