I put the unit in a 2008 f350. VERY EASY TO INSTALL. The unit is "wobbly" in my truck, which is not on paved surfaces very often, but it does hold its place fairly well. I gave it 5 stars because it functions better than expected for a lower priced unit.

I have had this item nearly a year and it serves it's purpose. It is fairly sturdy but definitely could be improved a bit. While all the joints hold tightly in place the base on occasion loosens and allows a little wobble. Tightening usually does the trick though. It is a bit shorter than I had expected but it works for my Ford Transit Connect Work van. When I attempted to use in a larger truck was way too short and not user friendly at all. The manufacturer should have included at least one extra bar with more length for the height. Would recommend for small trucks, vans, and cars only. It is made of a fairly durable weight metal and some plastic parts. So far nothing has stripped out on the screws nor has the plastic broken under weight of a midsize laptop. Installation was a bit meticulous but once figured out the unit mount is a good enough design to take it in and out when desired. I would buy again and recommend, but only for small vehicles.

I have this set up in a 08 F250 and was very easy to install and pretty sturdy. I highly recommend you use the additional support bar for extra support.I am using this with a Legion 5 Laptop which is kinda heavier and larger than the recommended size limits for this but it still holds it perfectly fine. I use this laptop for my job on the field as I need to do 3d renderings so need a somewhat powerful laptop.Overall, I highly recommend this if you have a truck.

The concept looked great. It wouldn’t install like the directions said on my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Had to use a bolt that made mounting awkward. The worst part was the tubes where they meet the knuckle, were only “glued†and did not hold the weight of the laptop. I had to epoxy ALL of those connections because they ALL broke loose.

I’ve never seen a vehicle laptop stand under $250 before. Now I know why. You get what you pay for. As other reviewers said, this completely fell apart at every joint after a few hours of driving. I had to hold my laptop up for over a mile to keep it from hitting the floor. All was because of the poorly glued tube joints.I got a bottle of gorilla glue and glued them properly and they now hold like they were welded.The second issue I have is the foot bracket. It’s not thick enough and has enough give to allow the top heaviness of the laptop to wobble 1-2†in every direction as you drive.For $99 bucks and a bottle of gorilla glue I’ll deal with the wobbling, but know what you’re getting. This is as cheaply made as they could have possibly made it, but it will work if money is an issue. Just add a bottle of gorilla glue to your cart before checking out.

I have to say I have had my eye on this for a while with me I'm using my laptop in the truck all the time. But it's hard when your doing down the road it fall's off the console or it's in the way. So when I got this Very easy to install and being able to move it around and it is out of the way. It was a great buy. Plus also it's very stable when going down the road it don't really move much and stay's right where it's at. Have to say if your looking for one I would go with this one. Plus also you can hook up your Laptop or your Ipad/tablet that's really awesome.

I gave an overall 5 stars due to the seller meeting/exceeding shipping expectations. Once I received the mount, I was able to quickly install the mount and put it right to work. The only issue I have is the 2015 and later trucks not not have bolts to mount it on the seats. I used a self tap directly to the floor and it works great

Fell apart within a week. Clamp and rod came apart. Had to hose clamp and gorilla glue it back together.

Very wobbly. Laptop sits slanted to left always. Cannot straighten it. It does the job. But not well.

It is a sturdy product but it would have been nice to be able to adjust the height as it is not tall enough and had to find a place to install it as the part to install it where my seats are did not fit.

Unfortunately, I’ve had this product for a little while. The base that comes with it is ok, had to purchase a additional bracket to install it into my new truck but the supports are wobbly, it shakes wildly due to the construction of the product. Personally I won’t buy another one like this.
