Great mount. Very sturdy and does exactly what I needed. Holds my 14†Dell very securely.

The criteria were, good air flow, bump security, low weight. This laptop tray looked like it checked all those boxes. It also looked strong and the bolts for the brackets tightened well and held them in place securely. I also liked that I could adjust it to fit the exact size of my machine. Added it to the wall-mounted arm and strapped my laptop in. Yes to the air flow thing, but....The first hint that I needed to do a lot more work securing things was the front edge of my laptop popping up over those two brackets on the ends when i opened it. They look high enough, but my deep and beveled device slipped right over them like the skid pads weren't there. All the weight is at the screen side and velcro is hard to get tight. Even at its tightest, it doesn't hold the device still. My laptop is very heavy. It didn't fall, but it did wiggle and rattle enough to cause concern and the thought of returning it. One star off. Also thought of replacing the velcro with something stretchy to get better tension, but stretchy anything would deteriorate from the heat of my laptop. This thing gets hot. So, searched trays again. But another search still had me thinking this tray was the best choice. It needed straps at the front corners, so I went on a search through my house for something I could use. I had velcro, but couldn't get it tight enough to counter the backward tilt of the screen weight. Ribbon and string didn't work either and were too slippery. No rubber bands on hand big enough to go around that bracket without snapping. What I did have was a set of silicone cord straps large enough to wrap around both the arm of the tray and the corner of my deep laptop case. One of the adjustment holes on each strap lined up perfectly with, and is spread around, the front inside corner of the bracket. These hold down the laptop and keep it from moving on the tray. Now I can bump the thing and don't hear the laptop rattling. And I should be able to tilt it without fear of it sliding off over the brackets. The whole arm wiggles when I type, but that's not the trays fault. And the front edge of the laptop doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the back where the velcro is. My silicone straps should hold for a while, and are visible enough to keep an eye on.Mission accomplished. Very nice tray.

Really easy to set up. I have put a laptop and a 10 inch tablet in to the mount with ease. It is sturdy and well thought out in the design. I have a charging cord on the corner of the laptop that fits perfectly since they recessed the corners to allow access.

I'm using this to hold a large (17 in) and heavy (7 lb) laptop. Overall, it does the job, but it could be better. I got this model because it's one of the few that has a velcro strap to hold down the laptop. I read reviews of other styles of laptop VESA mounts and people had problems with them slipping off the mount. The velcro strap on this has been helpful in keeping the laptop in place. However, they give you two flimsy velcro straps. They should give you one, larger velcro cinch strap. It's challenging to get the velcro strap tightly on. A cinch strap would make it so much better. The anti-slip bumpers they provide are cheap and the adhesive doesn't work that well, so the bumper keeps sliding off. I take it off and put it back down where it belongs. This isn't a long-term solution. It would be nice if there was some sort of adjustable clamp on the bottom that better caught the laptop. One of the screw holes wasn't threaded well, but we finally got the screw go to in.Note: if you plan to use different laptops on it that aren't the same size, you're going to have to adjust it each time you change the laptop. I don't think that's likely in my case, but it's something to be aware of if you have that need. So, it works and the laptop stays on pretty well. It meets the basic needs, but could be better.

Attached easily to a standard Versa mount. I was looking for something lightweight to replace the heavy metal tray that was included with the swing out “armâ€. Straps in with a Velcro strap for secure mount.

The laptop tray is rather nice and works well, but it arrived without the safety strap that is supposed to keep the laptop from falling out of the tray. I tried repeatedly to reach Customer Service, to send me the strap, A rep was never available. Website said to leave a message and they would contact me within 24 hours. Left several messages; never heard from them.

It's sturdy, and it holds a notebook firmly. For what I paid, I can't ask for more. The friction knobs that allow or stop the feet from extending are JUST A LITTLE cheap. I wish that there were better markings to show you that they're even, or if there was a depress-and-click mechanism to make changes faster. Again, for the price, this is more than good enough, and I'm not afraid at all that the knobs will loosen.

Fits on monitor arm and holds laptop nicely. I can use it with a chromebook or my Dell laptop. The monitor arm will need to tilt so you get the right angle.

Build quality is not great, adjustment is kind of a pain. Arrived scratched. All screw heads easily stripped

A little fiddly with all the small screws but once its on it works well. I can't close my laptop with the straps applied but that's not a major issue. Just FYI.

Great for mounting laptop to a monitor arm. Love the look, it doesn’t take up much space and is quite sturdy. Very easy to install. The only drawback is if you use multiple devices that are different sizes it can be fiddly to adjust but my laptops are both the same size.
