This mount works great for me. It looks small but is more than ample for holding my old laptop on the wall to get it out of the way. The screws are great if you find a stud in the wall. The plastic anchors however are useless and too weak for the weight. Still giving the mounts 5 stars because the mounts work so well for me.

I wanted to get a wall mount for my steam deck so I can plug it up to my mounted TV. Liked it so much I threw my MacBook on the wall as well. Buying another to mount my work lappy. Use a 13/64 drill bit to get the anchor in, the lighty tap in flush with a hammer. 7/32 is too big and anchor will fall in the wall. Would be nice to have some kind of padding, but for the price, it's a good buy.

Each wall mount bracket is 5.8" tall and 0.8" wide and extends 4.2" out from the wall. Each bracket presents a 1.5" base for an item to sit on and 5.1" of sloped backing to lean onto. The screw holes are 5.25" apart.In the box are four screws with wall anchors. I am not fan of the style of wall anchor that is included so will use my own to install the wall mount.Also in the box are three 4.7" double sided adhesive strips, two of which can be used to mount the brackets to the wall instead of using screws. The third is just an extra. I don't recommend using adhesive as a mounting method unless the intent is to set something fairly light on the wall mount. An aluminum mechanical keyboard, for example, can easily weigh 5 pounds or more so screws should be used instead.The brackets are plastic so should not scratch items that are placed on them. Some adhesive non-slip foam pads – not included – can be put onto the brackets if some cushioning is desired.Overall this is a budget wall mount that allows anything less than 1.5" thick to sit on. An item that is more than 5" tall, however, will wind up resting on the wall and not on the sloped back of each bracket. I'll be using it with mechanical keyboards, all of which have a bottom case area less than 5" tall and will thus sit nicely on this wall mount.

I like this holder so far! It's perfect for holding my iPad under my desk when I'm not using it.
