Not the sexiest but very sturdy and quality that’s better than the listing suggests. It nicely fits my 16-inch MacBook Pro and easily mounted in one of the swing arms on my desk.

I bought this to keep my laptop off the desk, and at the same height as the monitor I have on the other arm of the stand. It works great. It is mounted to a standing desk, and sometimes it wobbles a little if I move the desk up or when I put my arms onto the desk but only for a moment. It works well and I like having my desk space clear.

If you don't plan on typing on the laptop itself and you don't have a larger laptop, this is a solid and good mount for you.Good:Solid mounting screws work with VESA standard arm mounts.Bottom stoppers and side clamps ensure the laptop isn't going to accidentally slide off in most circumstances.The side clamps do have an independent 5 in range of placement on either side to accommodate asymmetrical ports/cord placement on either side of the laptop.Considerations:The side clamps do go about 3/4" over the keyboard itself (could impact typing on the device itself).Depending on your monitor mount, it's not stable to type on it (shakes quite a bit on a fixed arm dual mount). You can adjust the monitor mount VESA plate to change the angle but you'd have to really crank the plate back to make it comfortable to type as well.Thicker laptops might be an issue: the foot stoppers are 1" tall. If your laptop is thicker than that while open, or if you have a really curved front edge, might cause an issue. The side clamps are not so strong as to ensure it doesn't slide off the bottom on their own, only to supplement the bottom stoppers.

easy to install easy to use built niceI use a dell docking station so I place my laptop lid closed works finethe only thing I don't like about it is the two places that hold the laptop are made cheaply! but besides that ill buy it again!

This is exactly what I needed. I have a dual monitor stand and only one monitor. I can use this adapter to put my laptop on the remaining mount.

This thing works pretty well. I have a Wali monitor desk arm, it is easy to install, but the price may be a bit too high.

There was rough edge on the back of the holder mount and I ended up cutting my finger on it but that's the only downside I see to it since you will hardly ever touch the back of the product.
