This fitting is the real deal. It’s got a 1/2" inlet and a 3/4" GHT male thread outlet, so check your setup before buying to make sure it’ll fit. You’re gonna need to get inside the container to install it, so don’t plan on just slapping it on and calling it a day.The thing’s made out of solid brass, and you can tell it’s built tough. It’s not gonna rust or give out on you after a little wear and tear. Feels like something that’ll last for years.What I really appreciate is the double washer setup—one on each side of the wall. Keeps it nice and tight with no leaks, which is a big deal when you’re working with water storage or rain barrels.Installing it is straightforward. Drill a hole (about 21mm or 0.82 inches), i used my old step drill stick the fitting through, add the washer, tighten the nut, and you’re set. Hook up your hose or whatever, and you’re good to go. Nothing fancy, just works like it’s supposed to.

This is the perfect replacement for the cheap plastic spigots that came with the rain barrel. I will be purchasing more.

This is a great deal, good value for such solid quality. Solid quality what I mean is it feel heavy duty steel brass whatever you call it, it does feel like it will last a very long time. The lever witch to turn on off the water however appears to ABS materials or some kind of hard plastic which I think will go bad first, and it's also a bit hard or stiff to turn, but it does lock and open tightly though, no need to worries about leak for a while.The installation is simple, drill hole, gaskets on both sides, screw in to tighten and that's it.I use this for my 300 gallons IBC totes rain water collector and it work great. I got a garden hose attach to it without the nozzle that is, because if with the nozzle not much water will come out because my tank is not pressurize. So it's just a simple connection to let water flow out, good enough to water my garden let gravity do the work, you can potentially raise your water tank up higher for a little bit better water flow though.

Haven’t used it yet, but got it just in case. Just getting our camping gear ready for cold weather outings. Would definitely recommend this product.
