I don't know what others use this short of a tie out for, but I loved the tie-out this shop sells that combines this and a longer tie out so two dogs can use it. I ended up buying the 65 ft lead from this seller, a carabiner, and this piece to create a longer version of what they were selling! It doesn't burn like other plastic leads do and my dogs don't tend to chew through rope if they're outside. Not out there long enough to get that bored. Anyways, it works great and I love it very much!

My dog chewed through harnesses and leashes, but she doesn't chew this one. It's lightweight with a very comfortable handle.

I bought these to use as handles for my dogs support harness. Essentially his harness provides support for his front and rear legs. I use 2 of these to connect the front harness and rear harness to provide the abiity to support all of him with one hand. He is a large (90 lb) English Golden Retriever.

I ordered one and liked it so much that I ordered a 2nd. I still like the product, but I'm disappointed in the length difference. The same product should be the same length.

We have a cargo bike and there is an eye bolt to clip the dogs lead to keep them inside the cart. The bike only came with one tether. We needed two. It worked great!

It's an attractive tie back but it's no match for a chewing dog. My dog chewed through and was free in a minute. Perhaps it would be suitable for a non chewing dog.
