Four years ago, I was the first one in my family to buy an 18oz Bubba mug. Given the affordable price, we were all skeptical about how well it would insulate hot coffee and how spill proof it would be. For months, I filled my Bubba with hot coffee at 4:30am, drank some of the hot coffee on the way to work without any spilling in the car, stowed the mug in my locker, and drank the rest of the hot coffee during my first break of the day about 7:30 am. During this time -the dead of winter-I would occasionally forget to bring my mug of coffee inside. Nevertheless, it was still hot when I went out to the car at break time to get it. Sometimes, I would not stow my mug in my locker, but bring it with me on my rounds. On occasion, it would get knocked off my cart. But, it didn't leak. When the weather turned hot, I switched to ice coffee. One July morning, I left my mug in the car, but I didn't go out to get it during my shift. When I got in the car after my shift, I was delighted to find my drink still had ice in it. Since then, everyone in our household has gotten a Bubba mug, either because they asked me to get them one for Christmas or because they bought their own. Our mugs also travel with us on cruises.

My husband had an older version of this cup, it lasted so many years. He loves the color, the seal is great no leakage. He loves this cup so much I had to buy him a new one, he didn’t know I was getting him one so it was like a gift worth the money!

I have had a Bubba cup for my coffee for many years. I loved my mug. One day, it was too tall for the Keurig. The top edge was raised up, dividing from the cup. My husband was able to push it back, but it was still too tall. He bought me this one last week. It is the same height as the first one. It has a rubber bottom so it is a soft landing when you put it down on the table or beverage holder in the car. One difference is, that this lid screws on, compared to a push-down lid. The opener of the 2 cups are the same. The first morning, I turned the cup up for a sip and scalded half of my mouth off. I have never had such hot coffee in my many years of life! After putting ice on my upper lip, I tried it again. Still super hot but not scalding. I now have to take the lid off and wait about 5 minutes while I blow on it to be able to drink it. That creates a new problem. Without the lid, it cools down so fast that it is soon room temperature. I use a pod and it only makes 1/2 of the mug amount so I am surprised that it stays that hot as long as you leave the screw on lid shut. Like I said, when I take the lid off, it gets cold too fast.I am still trying to decide to go back to my old one or keep this one. I have used it 3 times so far. I hope the new one works.

Great coffee cup keeps it hot to warm for a long time. Use it for fishing,hunting and just for every day coffee cup. Great cup for the money.

This mug is a favorite in our house. It's the second one we've purchased. It's so nice, since it fits in the machine (we have a Ninja). No longer needed to brew into a mug, then pour into a travel mug. This one eliminates the middle man. Also have several of the cold cups with straws. Great brand and product!

Bubba Brand mugs are absolutely best brands out there. One thing I like about my Bubba mug is the stainless steel interior, (no plastic), and it keeps cold drinks iced for over 24 hours. Not only the Bubba brand mugs keeps things cold, it also keeps liquids hot, and the seal is no worry at all, I mean you can travel with this mug upside down in a back pack willed with liquids with no worry about it leaking. Years ago, I use to buy other brand mugs every year at Walmart until I happened upon the Bubba Brand Mugs, and that was it, I stuck with the brand. I've gone through 2 of the no carry handle Bubba Tumblers, and one was not returned after a guest used it(were not sure which guest), and the other I made a coffee with my wife sister, when she was rushing to go to training one morning, and she left it in the facilities kitchen by accident. I do have another Tumbler that I keep in my bed room as an (emergency back up) and I bought that at Amazon along with this mug that I'm writing about now. with the nice handle. Bubba Brand, I can tell The folks @ Bubba Brand done their homework, particularly in knowing the dimensions of the average motor vehicles cup holder, and I gotta say, all my Bubba Mugs fit like customize accessory to the 2 vehicles we commute with which are, (2021 Camry LE AWD, 2017 LEXUS LX 570). I will end it with a Thank You to the talented folks at Bubba Brand for putting out once again a fine product, Shalom.

#1. Loss of bottom insulator from cup. I've found that the glue that is supposed to hold the insulator to the cup bottom is very sparse, and tends to come off easily and disappear. I'm trying a Gorilla waterproof type now.#2. Lids can be hard to get off and very difficult to screw on. Lid threads are not well lined up or perhaps, the die that is used to cast the threads is badly worn.#4. The small cover that snaps over the hole in the lid works better as a device to help screw the lid on and off. Its also rather pathetically designed and poorly made, as the two hinge pins are too small to hold much force, such as falling on to a tile floor or having to use the cover to unscrew the lid.#5. I have 6 of these cups and found some lids work better on certain cups.#6. I am now testing all the lids on all the cups and numbering the lids to the cup they fit the best with a water proof marker.#7. I will say this for the cups. They insulate extremely well. Ice cubes placed in a cup with a cold soda will stay cold til noon the next day. These are the best cups I have ever used that are capable of this.

I replaced some very old and much-loved mugs with a pair of these. They’re built like a tank and have survived several drops on concrete while climbing out of my car and the lid has never popped open while dropped. If I have a solitary complaint, it’s that the lid requires a very hard twist to line up the spout at a 90 degree angle to the handle. I really have to reef both of them hard, and I expect the lid to crack someday under the force. Orient the threads more carefully when you’re building these, manufacturer! Aside from that, great Mug!***Update from Apr 11, 2020: I’ve picked up three more of these, and cracked the rim of one, just like I predicted above. Another caution- the flap MUST be folded 100% flat when you’re cranking on the lid or you’ll snap off the pins holding it on - very easy to do. Still love the mug despite its flaws - when it slips out of your hand in your office parking lot, crashes down onto concrete and doesn’t chip, crack, or pop open (and this has happened several times) that’s pretty impressive. No other mug I’ve owned would take this.***one year update*** I still think that these are great mugs, but 2/3rds of them now have cracked rims from reefing on the lid. I bought some JB Weld, and I’m going to try filling the crack with that. I think the manufacturer should modify the threads slightly.
