These prusik cords and lanyards are ultra-reliable and durable. While they were designed to make sliding on arborist ropes easier, they can also be used for rappelling in applications with most other ropes.
This prusik loop allows you to modify the hitch with any number of different knots applied. It is engineered specifically to provide a perfect grip and offer incredible abrasion resistance. The synthetic Technora materials offer exceptional stability and a remarkably high melting point. With an eye sewn by experts at Pelican Rope, these prusiks are designed to survive longer in some of the most extreme conditions.
8mm option is 100% pure technora. The 10mm option is a technora cover with nylon core.

I wasn't sure these little friction hitches would hold the weight I needed them to hold, but they did great! The material is very durable and abrasion resistant. I use them in trees a lot and I will definitely be buying them again. Make sure you get the length you need for your application, but all in all absolutely a great product!

Had to tie into 3/4 inch Bowl line with my half inch rope come along this provided me with a friction tie that works great

This is a very stiff prussic. If you are looking for something supple, this is not it!

Useful but would be even more useful if the loops were slightly larger to be able to loop the rope over itself

No aguanta muy bien mi peso que son 200 libras me dedico a la poda de arboles y lo que me da es inseguridad cuando lo use y nunca mas lo e usado se suelta solo no agarra la sogas bien y cuando lo quieres apretar mas se tranca no se quiere mover solo y pasas demasiado trabajo no lo recomiendo tú vida es primero

No grip, seams very durable but can't use it for a climbing knot. Lack of grip is enough to make it unsafe even with multiple knots tried. Will work as a prusik for my lanyard.
