I've bought a number of Bully Tools in the past, and these live up to my expectations. They're sturdy and well-made. The metal on the digger is thick and the welds are clean. The handles appear to be the same as the ones on their shovels, which even my crew of gorillas have never broken. I'm pleased.

The handles are weak, first time I used them I bent the center bracket that holds it all together. They are weak and barely good enough for a homeowner much less somebody uses them for a living. And you advertises made in America what a joke.

The posthole diggers are heavy, seems well constructed. My concern is that I received no information on who to contact with the limited lifetime warranty? I don't plan on having to contact them but I have busted diggers from craftsman.

I've had great experience's with Bully tools before, but their post hole digger is a disappointment. It might work ok in sand or other soft dirt, but I didn't get through digging the first hole and the blades were both bent and the hinge was torqued out of alignment. The steel in this tool is soft and pliable and completely inadequate for the application. In addition the hinge and hinge stop are poorly designed, the hinge is a simple bolt that allows too much flex, which in turn causes the hinge stops to bypass each other and jam the tool. Was looking forward to another quality American made tool, but this was a let down.
