I'm so glad these were as easy to use as they are. I'm putting up a tetherball pole for my German Shepherd and these made it a snap for this 65 yo woman. The blades aren't sharp enough to cut you, of course, but they sliced through the hard red clay dirt in my Oklahoma backyard just fine. I had that pole up in no time. This is a very sturdy tool, easy for a woman to use. HIghly recommend.

This thing digs! The mechanism functions as it’s supposed to and is extra long for deeper digging. Better than I would’ve expected.

Dug three holes for a fence. Worked very well when I got my pattern down. Just very challenging to dig through pure clay in general.
