I am new to gardening and I bought these last August learning I could start a fall crop. They germinated quickly and I was able to get a number of dills harvested before the frost hit in November. I did try one and it was delicious but the rest I placed in the fridge (in a vinegar, dill, water, peppercorn mixture). My family and I recently tried them and they taste delicious. Picture at picking and then recently when pulled from pickling jar in the fridge.

Got just 1 seed to germinate. I am a master gardener so i am an expert at sowing cucumber seed. One sprouted and looked spinnely and barely grew but never big enough to produce. I bought a pack of cuccumber seed from home depot and every one germinated in the same soil and container and location and even same watering and sunlight. They grew and I now am getting lots of cuccumber from another bramd of seed. These burpee seed are junk. They were likely not viable at the time of packaging.

I ordered these for my first attempt at a garden, and I was very happy. Planted directly outside in zone 7b on May 4th, shoots started to appear about a week later. Plants look healthy and I've picked three delicious cucumbers already with four more very nearly ready. The cucumbers are delicious with a sweet "melon" taste. Great for salads, and my grandkids love them on their own and fresh from the garden.

I didn't get the results I was expecting. Less than half produced Straight eight. More like muncher cucumbers.
