As the price of plants goes up - I decided to get busy and start my own this year. I do alot of canning so Romas were a must on my list. These seed looked to be healthy and fresh. I didn't count to see how many but looks like a good amount to me. I popped them right into my seed starter. It took about 4 days before they peeped out.....From 12 cotainers with 2 seeds each - 20 sprouted which I thought was very good. They are a nice healthy green color and are about 2 inches now. So far they aren't growing and getting leggy but seem to be developing into good strong plants. Depending on how many of these do well this might be enough for me - or may start a few more....but I'd definitely get these seed again.

I started the seeds in my hydroponic system, and I had a 100% germination rate, and all 10 plants are producing. The size of tomatoes varies from plant to plant, which is to be expected. For determinate tomatoes, I kind of expected that the tomatoes would all be ready at generally the same time, but I’m on week 2 harvesting, and still have many more tomatoes still not ready to harvest. Again, also can be expected to a degree. Was really hoping the tomatoes would all come in at one time, or within a few days of each other, since we were planning to can them, but we can freeze them as they ripen to process later.

All seeds put to germinate did germinate. Still waiting for plants to grow big enough to plant and place outside. Way too early to determine the produce.

There were just under 300 seeds in the 250 pack! I quick-sprouted these using a paper towel, plastic bag, and a warm room. I didn't count, but at least 85% sprouted. I then took the best and put them in little cups for giveaways at a local spring celebration. I kept a few for myself, but haven't gotten fruit yet.

I was quite shocked with my germination rate. I am happy if it is over 60%. This was 99% germination within 6 days. Will order again
