The fifth wheel hitch was simple to assemble but you will need 2 people or something to lift into your truck. the hitch is great and the rollback function was a great addition for the price. I have the GMC shortbox crew cab HD and my fith wheel motorhome would take my cab out if it didnt rollback. I was unsure of the cost-benefit at first but I would highly recommend this one over the fixed model for a short box. the longbox may not require that.The hitch component "B&W Trailer Hitches 2016-2019 Chevrolet and GMC and 2500 and 3500 Trucks Gooseneck Hitch" for the truck that I bought was not bad to install, but maybe the part if you are not mechanically inclined to have a local hitch company install. It does require drilling a large hole and crawling around for a few hours under your truck. I added a segment and removed the box bolts and lifted it up to aid in the install but wasn't required.I also bought the "Hopkins 41157 Endurance 5th Wheel Wiring Kit" to keep the wires from dangling out the back of my trailer over the tailgate.

Very nice hitch! Very good quality...just what I expected from B&W. Fit perfectly in my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 S/B. Already had my B&W gooseneck ball so it was easy to take the ball out and drop it in.

Really great hitch. Way to heavy to move by myself though. Once it’s in, it’s in (for me). Rides incredibly well.

The hitch works flawlessly, seller and shipping company were great to deal with. The unit is extremely heavy. Be aware that you need to cut slots out of plastic bed liner because nylon strips under hitch NEED to make contact with metal bed floor to stabilize hitch and keep it from twisting/shifting.

Just what I wanted install only took about 30min. Did it by myself but only bc i have a block and tackle in my garage other wise you need a min of 2 ppl. It's not lite!

I didnt want to pay this much for a hitch, but I am glad I did. Smooth driving down the road, and parking our camper with the slide is really easy. It was a bit heavy for me to install by myself, but it is what it is. Recieved this hitch in less than a week, which is great because most other places I checked claimed at least a month before they could get me one.
