I have a new neighbors who is extremely sensitive to sound and wakes up at night if she hears my footsteps in the hall. I am used to apartment living so I knew that some well placed rugs and cushion can help so much. I love these because they don’t seem super thick and the way they are broken down into pieces makes it easy to move them around. I didn’t bother with the adhesion because I like to lift them often when I vacuum but they stay put. They are strong and very effective. The neighbor hasn’t heard a thing since I put these down. And the price is decent and so worth it.

I probably should have done more comparative measurements but i thought ten squares would at least cover a normal area rug size. Would fit maybe a runner, but not even a small rug!! Product is good quality and fits seamlessly, seems sturdy, already noticed less echo in the room!! I ordered two more of the 16 square packs, which should be enough to finish under my area rug and have leftover for a runner. I wish there were "finished" edges so it wasn't irregular around the edges, if I was less able I'd worry about tripping.

seem good overall but these slide around freely on my hardwood floors which is the opposite of what the product is intended to do.

The product was easy to arrange and cut to fit the desired room. Feels great to walk on and also love the color it goes well with my Entertainment Room. Will upload pictures when I've finished setting up the room.

These pieces are hard and not of good quality. Certainly not soft to walk on. I guess it depends on where you are placing them .

As long as I have been working from home now my wife has had to deal with hearing me upstairs in my office rolling around in my chair as I adjust throughout the day. We added a carpet mat on our hardwood floor to help and also bought special casters on the chair. Both of those did help but still not quite enough and I felt like every time I had to move it was a problem...These solved the problem! We just needed enough to put under a chair protector mat so the 16 pack was plenty and we still had 1 left over. I have been on them for 2 days now and have moved around a lot just to test and my wife hasn't heard a thing. Love when a product works this well and I recommend it for this kind of situation at least.

I got this so the person below me wouldn't hear me through thin floors. it works for certain sounds (vibration phone) but not super great for others (walking)
