This is a great piece for the kitchen island. It is a plastic lid which is awesome because it is lightweight and I don't have to worry about it being shattered. It is a perfect size - just bigger than a plate. I have not used it upside down yet because there is always some kind of sweet treat on display in it. Everyone compliments it.

I love my cake plate. The wood is nice and thick. I thought the top would be glass but it’s plastic that’s even better for me. I have a nice tall cake plate. It’s glass and it’s starting to get heavy for me so this came in perfect.

Nice heavy wooden base and solid plastic top. Not very high so you’ll need a low cake!

This is a beautiful cake plate with transparent dome. As I get older I have given up on using heavy glass items because of their weight and bulk. The dome is crystal clear acrylic and quite lightweight. The wood base is lovely. Makes for a beautiful presentation of cakes, pies, or pastries.
