Fits nicely in the bottom of a five gallon bucket from Lowe’s and Harbor Freight. Works just as advertised and keeps the grime on the bottom and the cloth on the grate. Good buy.

These work great in my two five gallon buckets I use to wash our vehicles. One for soap and one to rinse after using my microfiber brush on the cars. That keeps the grit you remove from being reintroduced to the next panel and protects your vehicle’s finish. They work great in letting the dirt settle to the bottom of the bucket.

I just purchased a new car and it's time to go back to hand washing versus being lazy and going to the car wash. A wash bucket dirt trap isn't rocket science and wasn't going to pay twice as much for a single guard. This product is great since it comes with two dirt guards, one for the wash bucket and one for the rinse bucket. They fit perfectly in 5 gallon buckets that are available at your local hardware store. They also have five holes (for four fingers and your thumb) which makes it super easy to remove from the bucket unlike many other guards which have no holes or only two or three. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Throw them at the bottom of your 5 gallon buckets and forget about them. They do the job and they do it well, while being affordable.

Nice grit guard, fits 5 gallon buckets perfectly. Doesn't float like the one that came in my Chemical Guys bucket.

saw something like this on a car show. I thought it was great! I always hated when I cleaned something, I wouldhave to use 2 buckets. One for the cleaning water and one to rinse the rag before I put it back in the cleaning water. Don't have to do that anymore. "Dirt" drops below the "strainer' and keeps the cleaning water clean!! Well worth the purchase.
