Several reviews mentioned inability to maintain suction for a long period. My mount has remained in place for four months. I mounted it low on the glass in an area where curve of glass was minimal. I cleaned glass well, first with a vinegar and water solution, then with lens cleaner pads. I let it dry then I mounted suction cup and it remains in place still. I get good reception except in areas where nearby mountains block the southern view. Seems like a much better solution than the roof mount method outlined in Sirius XM instructions.

Let's face it, unless you are a professional installer, most people are not up to the task or thrilled about routing the antenna wire through moulding and weatherstripping in order to mount a Sirius XM antenna outside the vehicle. Not that I couldn't do it, but my biggest concern is the antenna getting damaged or tampered with and having to go through the whole installation process again. This antenna mount is a neat and professional looking way to mount a Sirius XM antenna inside your vehicle. In most areas I get full signal strength, including the rural area in which I live. The suction cup on this antenna mount provides a strong hold and the magnetic strips included with the mount do a great job holding the antenna in place. If you own a portable Sirius XM radio, this is a great alternative to mounting the antenna outside of the vehicle.

Works as advertised. Expensive for what it is, but few alternatives.

My car has a steeply sloped windshield, so mounting this near the bottom put the maximum amount of glass over the antenna. I get great reception all over the city. Having the antenna mounted inside the car is so much more convenient than trying to find grommets to get it on the roof, and this suction cup mount makes my antenna portable, so I can take it to my wife's car or a rental with ease. Glad I purchased it!

You need a direct view of the sky. The radio reception would cut out around tree lined streets, but worked well on the open road. Resorted to putting the antenna on the roof of the vehicle instead of the windshield suction cup to gain better reception.

I purchased this to mount a Sirius satellite radio antenna inside my airplane to provide me with some tunes for when I’m flying around. This suction cup sticks to the Lexan rear window perfectly and it hasn’t let go even once since I’ve installed it. Great value!

Easy and quick job; my installer replaced ugly top-of-dash mount & often water rusted roof top antennas; and hid the suction antenna where it’s up behind my rear view mirror - invisible. Hard to see from outside; yet it brings in a powerful siginal!
