You're here because you fired up your Y43 auger, put the choke in "run", pulled the throttle trigger, and your old carburetor just stalled out. This carburetor solves that right away. Installation is about 15 minutes. Adjustment is about 1 minute. Right away you get all of the available power of the engine. There's no fiddling with the choke position or primer bulb to keep it running. It's works as it should, and it feels like you just got a new, powerful machine. Just buy it. The temptation is to throw your old carburetor as far as you can into the woods. Dispose of it properly.

So I changed the throttle bracket to the old due to the difference between the two. Very little to change. Worked perfect!

Swapped in this unit to replace worn out stock carb on a Thunderbay Y43 auger head. Started right up and ran great without adjustment. Had to transfer over the throttle cable coupling and bracket from the stock carburetor. So a little adaption was required
