How to remove the carpet tape? You don’t need any special devices to remove the tape. Take the carpet up. Start removing the tape from one end and gently pull in to another. Use a hairdryer to heat the tape for better and faster removal. Do not scratch the tape to avoid the floor damage.

If you have rugs that don't want to stay in place, this works great! I have used this on rugs in high-traffic areas in my home and the rugs stay in place. I have not tried to remove the tape but it was easy to use and has lasted the test of time. You do not have to use a lot for your rugs so it's a great value.

I bought this to help hold down my large rug that wasn't laying flat and caused me to trip when walking onto it. This tape was easy to use. It cut well, and the backing peeled off easily. I found the best way to use it was to measure the area that needed to be taped down and then attach the tape to back of the rug first. This made it easy to peel off the backing and then attach the rug and tape to the floor. It sticks well, and hasn't peeled up so far. It's a good price and works great!

This stuff is a bear to work with because it is so sticky. However, because it is so sticky, it seems to hold well. So far, it is holding up. I used it to hold carpet pieces to vinyl flooring. I even used it to hold some foam pieces on the stairs going into our motorhome.

I brought this tape to hold a new woolen rug firmly in place and hold the curling edges down flat (to eliminate a tripping hazard). I wanted tape that was easy to use and did not leave residue on the floor or the woolen rug. This tape fits the bill. Its adhesive properties are strong and it doesn't seem to leave residue on removal.

Great rug tape. Used this for a large floor rug(like an 8x10 foot rug), and it holds it in place very easy and very well. No issues whatsoever. Great amount received for the price as well. Easy to cut amount needed as well and easy to remove the plastic peel off before installation.

The Trazon double-sided carpet tape works as expected for keeping carpets in place. It’s easy to apply and holds the edges securely to prevent shifting. The tape is durable, but I did notice that it could be a bit stickier—on certain surfaces, it didn't adhere as strongly as I hoped.It’s functional, but if you need a more heavy-duty solution, you might want to look for something with stronger adhesive.If you're looking for a basic carpet tape that does the job without overdoing it, this one works well. Just keep in mind it might not hold as strongly in high-traffic areas.

Worked perfect for stair treads on wood and locking down car tire stops in garage 2 years ago. Did not hold foam kitchen mat in place. Stuck to floor but not mat. A year later, tape peeled up and leaving no residue or damage on wood floor. Lost roll and ordered again for new carpet.

Nice and sticky - perhaps a little too sticky but I think that is dependent on the backing material of the carpet.It is indeed true that you can use this particular tape to stick carpet to carpet. What do I mean? Winter. You may have an all year carpet in the hallway to the front door, and now comes snow and salt time. Most people put a black rubber backed carpet on top of their existing carpet to protect the year around. The problem with these carpets is that they often curl at the edges. So with this tape you can prevent the curling and people accidentally tripping on the winter overlay while at same time having peace of mind on not harming your year around carpet with goo.
