I was looking for something that could be used as a shedding comb for my 2 kitties. I wanted something that would be gentle for them. This is absolutely perfect, and I'm very glad that I bought it. They both accepted it very easily and quickly.The "tines" of the comb are very flexible and glide over the different angles of the cats' bodies. But it still does a great job picking up fur.I wish the design weren't so silly, but it is comfortable for me to hold, too.

My cat doesn't like any other combs, brushes or even those glove things with bumps on them but she likes this comb and it gets out a lot of fine hairs. Granted, she's a short-hair so I'm not using it on knots like a longer haired cat can have, but i think if you use this every day, it would help prevent those knots and even untangle them once they start. It's gentle and ergonomic.

While this is easy to use I am disappointed that it doesn't do much for tangles that aren't tiny. It does a good job of getting the loose hair, but not the tangles.Edited: After repeated use it did get most of the tangles tho the biggest ones still had to be cut out. I think with regular use it will be well worth having. I wasn't patient enough.

My cat hated to be groomed. I have a box of brushes I've try to use and he's hated them all.When I say he loves getting groomed with this comb I really mean it. Best of all it works! My cat is a short-haired tabbie and I am amazed at the amount of fur this removes. Great product.

We have a DMH who has very fine hair and she gets mats on a regular basis. She’s not the easiest cat to restrain to remove them and I wanted to refrain from using scissors. I’ve used this comb twice so far and it’s worked great!This isn’t a deshedding tool or a comb for regular brushing needs. In the description it says regular brushing will help with shedding, and that’s true, but this isn’t the type of comb for that. I would describe this as a complain tool for at home grooming. If you’re looking want an easy way to remove mats, I recommend this comb!

I expected it to be cheaply made, but I also though it would at least work a little bit. When I comb my cats with a Furminator I get enough fur to make a medium sized kitten. This "comb" resulted in barely enough fur to even see after 5 minutes. Plenty of fur in the air, but none in the comb. I was going to say it might be helpful with a very long haired cat (my guys are shorthairs), but I have a feeling that the teeth are so flimsy that they'd bend if they encountered any resistance from a mat or snarl.If you actually need to comb your cat or dog, get a Furminator. You'll balk at the price at first, but it's effective and it lasts forever.

I originally bought this for my cats. However, my DOGS LOVE IT TOO! It is smaller than I expected and the "comb" part doesn't seem as flexible as the video shows. It is comfortable to hold and all the animals love it so much they won't leave you alone wanting you to use it. If you stop they will start nudging you to keep combing them, which is unusual for my animals they normally do not like to be brushed or combed. I just wish they made a bigger size for dogs too. I have 2 large dogs that love it! My cats can't get enough either and will actually knock each other out of the way to be combed.

This product was a waste of money it does not work. The teeth are made of a hard plastic.

Good product. It’s plastic though and could be a superior product if made with metal.
