I use these as placemats & as landing mats for cats to have something to jump onto which won’t slide out from under them. I’ve got IKEA Kallix shelves next to a cat tree & these allow the cats to jump & land easily. Plus they’re super cute! I keep the cat food on the shelves so it’s away from the dog

It's cute and doesn't slide around on our wood floor. Three ample size food bowls fit across it for our 2 cats. I sweep off the crumbs and, according to the description, it's machine washable.
