I have used these now about 5 times and I am very happy with them. They do add protection and also support at the same time. I bought the grey ones with the half fingers. The first couple of wears were a little snug but they have broken in to my size very nicely. If I had one thing to add I would love for them to be about one inch longer overall (on my arm) - they do slide a little bit but not terribly.Updated 10/27/23 - I got another pair because I like them so much

By no means am I using these for their intended purposes; they will actually form part of a costume I am putting together so not exactly the intended application. The sleeves fit well and they are comfortable enough for short term wear, we'll see how they hold up to several hours of continuous wear further down the line. They are a little scratchy but I've experienced that with similar products as well so I'm hopeful that once they are worn in that should go away. I did test them out, unintentionally I assure you, I was wearing them to get a feel for them, cutting an apple and the knife slipped, no cuts or slashes and I still have my fingers so they did their job. From that alone I'm very happy with this purchase lol.

I bought these to get my anxious, very angry, bitey cat to the vet. They worked perfectly! For the first time in many years, I was able to get him into a carrier without behaving to shed blood to do it.*Edited almost a year later- so I lost the original gloves and re-ordered a new pair because that same cat had an injury and I needed to get him checked out. I put on the gloves and tried to pick him up and he both scratched and bit me. at first it was working but then his teeth went right through the fabric, cut me pretty deeply in multiple places and his back claws scratched thru it also. I’ll add a picture later, I can’t right now because I just got done cleaning and dressing the wounds, and I don’t want to have to do it all over again. Hopefully I don’t need a trip to the doctor for this but it could end up requiring some medical attention. The first pair I had last year were great and worked perfectly. Something is different now. These were not nearly as effective.

These can be used for woodworking, welding, gardening - anything where your arms are exposed to wear & tear and abrasions. Comes in different sizes, so small ones will fit women as well.

I bought these from my husband who works in maintenance/facilities and is always getting his arms banged up. He was hesitant to wear them at first, but I insisted,. He absolutely loves them now! He has had several potential scrapes, bumps and bruises where if he didn’t have these on his arms, he would have gotten cut, bruised or scratched up badly. He realizes how valuable these are now and is really thankful I bought them for him. Great product!
