Had stud with very chewed up threads in a truck that requires removal of front hub to replace stud. It had difficulty starting straight initially as the first quarter inch of threads were mangled but eventually got past that and cleaned up the remaining threads.Conveniently it is the same 7/8" or 22mm as the studs. On my truck I didn't need to remove the wheel which was a bonus.I got my money worth and more with this first use

This tool worked as advertised. One of the lug bolts on my wife's 2003 Subaru was a little messed up. I used the tool to clean up the lug bolt and replaced the lug nut. The new lug nut went on smoothly. I am very happy with the results.

I had a couple studs that had probably gotten hit too hard with an impact a time or to.This did a good job of cleaning up the threads
