Using a ruler or straight edge; the material is surprisingly easy to cut with a razor knife without strands of fiber clinging to the blade and pulling the material apart as could be the case with just plain fiberglass. Scissors work well also.

I used this on a firewall to reduce heat transfer and help cut engine noise. Fast shipping, looks great and easy to install.

Works well to help with cabin heat in a 1965 Austin Healey 3000. Cast iron straight 6 puts out a lot of heat. This insulation helps A LOT! I stuffed it everywhere I could anywhere near the firewall and under carpet where it can’t be seen.

I put this into a pizza oven. Temps get higher, quicker. No clue on the R rating, but it is really high. Cut to fit to your project and never worry about it again. It's good enough to not need a review, but here is a review.

Used this to increase thermodynamics of heat . This pizza oven worked great but didn’t hold heat very long. Initially temperature loss occurred after 30-45min. After installing this Ceramic Tex blanket, temperature held for two hours with same amount of charcoal and wood. The picture shows my ugly prototype model. I used scrap sheet metal to cover the blanket.

Lined cabinet above, behind and on the sides of a toaster oven we enclosed. The shelf above the unit no longer heats up. Used spray adhesive to affix. Easy to cut to shape.

Did the job. Little less coverage than expected but did what I needed it for
