I bought these for my kids to give out with valentines. They're the perfect combo of sparkly on the outside and rainbow on the inside. And they were a great value per valentine, too. We had some left over, and they're the only thing my kids want to write with these days, so I'm about to order more. (I will say, the lead is soft, so they get worn down and need sharpening a lot, so they go pretty quickly.)

I get these for my students every year around Christmas to use in our Literacy books. Most of the time they come sharpened already, but these didn't this time. It comes with pencil sharpeners so you can do it yourself. I have found that some specialty pencils will sharpen really well in an electric sharpener while others just break and keep breaking so you have to use a manual pencil sharpener. These all did really well in an electric sharpener. I do use the manual ones those to sharpen again. My students LOVE using these and ask to write with them often.

I bought thesse to put in a lunch bag that is printed with games for children's choir gifts. Unfortunately, several of them are not straight and didn't sharpen without breaking. The lead also breaks on first use.They are also very slender and round; difficult to hold for children.They would go back if I had time for something else and if I had not attempted to sharpen 20 of them (15 were straight enough to get a sharp end).

Great pencils, the colors are vibrant and they smooth to write with. They sharpen nice and pointed.I got them for a kindergarten valentines party and all the kids loved them. Had enough to keep some at home.
