The cherry pitter is sturdy and fun to operate. De-pitted cherries stuffed with ricotta and honey and coated in dark chocolate easy to make after de-pitting.... small enough to store in drawer. Easy to clean.

This tool does a great job of pitting cherries, but the great limiting factor is that you can only do one cherry at a time so it is a slow go if you have a lot of cherries to pit. My mother had an old fashioned cherry pitter that you could load up the hopper, turn the crank and it would automatically feed the cherries through the machine, one after the other. If you are content to pit your cherries one at a time, this is one of the better options out there, since it's made of 304 stainless steel, instead of those poor quality ones that are made of cheap plastic. This pitter also has a splatter guard, unlike some of the cheaper versions out there, so there is less mess. The only thing I really didn't like is that the action could have been smoother. The movement on mine was kind of rough. Other than that, this seems to be a pretty well made tool for the money.

This thing is pretty cheaply made. The steel stock is quite thin, and it is very light, so not particularly sturdy at all, and coils very easily fall over. Tools like this need a heavy base if the actuation point is high. The spring and the metal ferrule both move freely up and down, and the tolerances are poor enough that the spring rattles along with it. For the money, I guess I couldn’t expect much more, but don’t fool yourself into thinking this thing is a value.

The Zattic Cherry Pitter is a sturdy and efficient tool for removing cherry pits. Its stainless steel construction feels durable, and the press-type design makes it easy to use. Being dishwasher-safe is a plus for quick cleanup. Perfect for saving time when prepping cherries, though it works best with firmer fruits.

This is a lot easier than removing pitts by hand and your hands don’t get stained either. Solid stainless steel tool that is easy to use to remove the pits one at a time. It can go pretty quick once you get the hang of it. It is long like a lot of your utensils so it can be stored in a drawer, but I store mine in a cupboard with a lot of of my other kitchen toys that I don’t use every day.

So this works, but the first few times it had kind of ruined my cherries and I had a laugh. I was thinking maybe the cherries are too small but after a few more tries, it's working a bit better. I think this is trial and error, it does work! It comes with a small circular mat for the pit remover to sit on and a brush for cleaning.

This review is for the Zattic Cherry Pitter, 304 Stainless Steel Cherry Pit Remover Tool, Heavy Duty Cherry Seed Remover, Dishwasher-Safe Cherry Corer, Time-Saving Cherry Core Remover, Easy to Use Cherry Stoner (Press-Type).I have several cherry pitters. Some work, one doesn't work at all. Some are good, the Zattic is the best. The hole is cut cleanly as the pit is expelled. No more smashed cherries or stuck pits. I don't use the little black silicone thing provided. I simply put the pitter on a cutting board. One negative: it's possible to eat too many cherries. Though I can't blame Zattic for that.Recommended. Five stars.

This is a stainless steel cherry pitter and comes with a small silicone mat. Mine, unfortunately has an issue - when I press down on the plunger, it's not smooth; it binds quite badly, and most of the time the spring is not strong enough to return the plunger to its default position. The box in which it arrived is in perfect shape, so I don't believe this was a shipping issue; more likely, it is a quality control issue.
