I mean, shredding chicken isn’t that hard, but this thing makes it quick and easy. Just push down while going back and forth, and it’s done. I used to use a stand mixer, but that requires getting it out and making a mess. This is so much more convenient! It’s perfect for chicken salads or any dish that needs shredded chicken. It’s easy to clean, and the clear lid makes it even more convenient. Great tool for anyone who cooks often!

I’ve never used a chicken shredder before. This one has five pieces that require minimal assembly. It took more pressure than I thought it would to snap the handles into the lid. And it took more than a couple of minutes to discover that barely visible black arrows on the black base and the black container must be aligned to get them to snap together.To test out this chicken shredder I made chicken taquitos which I’ve made many times over the years. I pre-cooked four seasoned skinless, bone-in chicken thighs in a slow cooker for several hours until fall-off-the-bone tender which helps to make shredding easy. The chicken was then refrigerated overnight.My expectations were probably set too high. I do admit that shredding requires less effort when meat or poultry is warm versus cold. And although this shredder does a reasonably good job, I still had to manually shred some chicken pieces because some chunks inevitably get pushed to where there are gaps in the shredding teeth. Some of the chunks were large and had to be repositioned to get them shredded. Even then, some pieces were still missed by the shredding teeth. The base, however, gripped the countertop very well and didn’t move at all during shredding. All said, the shredder probably did save a little time, and it is pretty good. But I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s not as effective as I had anticipated.

This chicken shredder works exactly as advertised and makes shredding cooked meat incredibly easy! The 10-inch size is perfect for handling chicken breasts, pork, or even beef. It’s much faster and more efficient than using forks, and the shredded meat comes out evenly. If you cook a lot of shredded chicken or pulled pork, this is a great addition to your kitchen!

Probably the best kitchen tool I have gotten. I use to shred chicken with forks or with a beater and it always made a mess or hurt my hands. This thing shreds a whole chicken breast like a dream. It is hard to clean but that’s okay

My son loves this! He uses it on his Rotisserie chicken and his carnitas weekly. It's easy to use and even easier to clean as it comes apart in sections!

Used it the day it arrived and it really works! I’ve seen them on Amazon before, and despite the low price, just always used two forks to shred chicken and pork. Not anymore! This was too easy. Grilled up some chicken breasts, placed them in the shredder and voila, shredded chicken in seconds! The time is saved makes it worth it! Plus this is 10†across vs many others being smaller. When it arrives, just pop the handles in the holes and you’re good to go! Five stars in my book!
