The only time I have ever cut a finger slicing food was dicing onions. After my third such clumsy move I stumbled on this slicing holder. Wow. Mission accomplished. No need to touch the onion while slicing and easy to select the width. I also have used it to prep green and red peppers. Nice addition to the kitchen toolkit.
