This is a pretty useful little gadget. It works pretty well, if you make sure to chunk up your chicken before adding it. It turns fairly easily and the handles turn as you're moving the top to assist with easily rotating the lid. IF you rinse it well IMMEDIATELY after use, it's easy to clean, too. If you don't, getting between the little protrusions can be a bit frustrating. The biggest con I can see to this is it's very small. It will barely fit one chicken breast. That being said, it literally just takes a few seconds to shred the chicken, so a full instant pot load of chicken breasts might take a minute or two to shred, so that's really nice.

I ordered this chicken shredder because my old one had rubber pads on the bottom that fell off, causing it to slide around on the counter. With that said, I absolutely love the sturdiness of this shredder. Using the durable mat that comes with it, it doesn't slide at all when in use. However, there are fewer prongs in this shredder, so they are spaced further apart. As a result, it doesn't shred the chicken as finely as my old one. It is very easy to use and clean, but I feel the performance is not superior to other options.

I have tried a few of these and was hesitant to expect much out of it. I would put this one leaps and bounds ahead of the others. As long as you are careful to not 'overload' it ... it does a good job. I found that with more solid cuts of meat you need to really cut back on how much you put in, but it works like it says when you get the amount right. The other I had tried felt to hard to use (keeping still while turning the shredder).

This is a nice little shredder set - the plastic body and shredder teeth are strong, and I really appreciate the brush it comes with to clean in between the teeth after use.It worked better than I thought it would - I put the chicken in and closed the top, and within two slight rotations - one each way - boom, shredded chicken! The non-slip pad is a plus, it keeps the tool from moving around on the counter as you shred. Can't ask for anything more. Quickest shredding tool I've used for chicken - I would always have to cut and shred them by hand - this takes 4 seconds.

I got this specifically to shred chicken for tacos. The rule is don't get kitchen gadgets that just do one thing, but I had to try this. I don't like the sound of forks scraping together and my hand strength isn't what it use to be so now I have a chicken shredder😊 It's a nice compact size and very lightweight so it's easy to store and pull out as needed. I really like all the accessories. I like the way the chicken comes out. It does what it says it does so I'm pleased.

I’d been seeing this type of shredder all over Instagram, and finally decided to see that all the hype was about. While the size measurements were accurately posted, I was still a bit surprised that the unit seemed to be so small. I think it was the whole chicken breast shown in the photo that threw me, because there was no way one of the chicken breasts I poached would begin to fit on the tray. The ones I cooked were smallish at 8 to 9 ounces. Others in the package were 12 – 15 ounces. No matter, because the instructions on the box say to break up the chicken breast into pieces. I did that and started twisting. While I did reach the point of shredded chicken, it took quite a few turns. I was expecting two to three, but it was more line 10 to 15, plus a few times I had to stop to rearrange the pieces or remove the shredded part and return the chunked pieces to try again. So, while it did take more than just a few seconds, it did take much less time than shredding with two forks and was easier to do. Included is a rubber mat, which works well to hold the shredder in place on the counter, a good-quality small pair of tongs, and thoughtfully, a large cleaning brush. It’s still not super easy to clean. I used the brush to clean it out a bit, and then put it in the dishwasher. That was easy, so I love that it is top rack dishwasher safe. I like that I can also shred pork or ham in this shredder and that it won’t take up too much storage space.
