Love the design of this chuck key compared to the one that came with my Dremel 9100 flex shaft tool. The handle shape and length makes it much easier to use. All of the keyed Foredom hand pieces and shafts fit the 9100 Dremel, so this chuck key works with this Dremel. Honestly, it should’ve come with this from the factory instead of the short “T†shaped key that’s so slow and awkward to turn.

UPDATE: I bought a second foredom (SR) that was virtually new. This new chuck key fit and worked in both fine.What didnt work was the handle that came with my newer foredom on my old standard foredom (cant recall model # atm)So kinda interesting. They aren't all the same. But this new key i ordered here worked on both. So i had to keep my slightly older slightly flawed cracked key that came with my new foredom and sell the brand new one i just bought here.These are the breaks I suppose...ORIGINAL: Works great with my #30 hand piece.. Center pin and gears seem to mesh nice and tight. Plastic drilled nice clean and easily with 3/16" bit for added cord for hanging.I wish it had a hole to begin with. But what ever easy fix.

I purchased a hand grinder ,upgrade from a dremel tool, but I misplaced the chuck key. I ordered this tool as a replacement. The pin that fit into the female hole of the chuck is very small, to small for my needs. I read the description so this is my error. This tool my or may not work. I have changed bits but have not used the hand grinder to see if the bit stays in place. The tool is small for my hands, one of the reasons I purchased it was because I thought it would be easy to use and hold onto but it is small and not as user friendly as I had hoped.

Works perfectly! I found my missing original right after I received this 🤦â€â™€ï¸ but it's always handy to have a spare!
