Marine & Tackle Reel Care Combo Kit
- Marine & Tackle 1 oz. Needle Oiler includes a 1/2" steel tip for precision application and is ideal for attacking the hard-to-reach areas of your reel.
- Marine & Tackle 2 oz. Pump Sprayer deploys a fine mist to evenly coat the exterior of your rod and reel for a quick wipe down or to cover internal parts during a thorough cleaning.
- Marine & Tackle Synthetic Reel Grease is ideal for gear lubrication and stays in place under harsh conditions and won't wash out during use, even when submerged.
- The Clenzoil Marine & Tackle Reel Care Combo Kit is designed to clean, lubricate and protect all aspects of your fishing rod and reel.
- Recommended for use on bait-casters, spinning reels, trolling reels, or fly-fishing reels.
Remove spool assembly by turning drag knob counter clockwise. On Reels equipped with a rear drag, spool assemblies are release via push button and handle assembly.
Lightly coat reel with Marine & Tackle 2 oz pump sprayer.
Apply one or two drops of Clenzoil Marine & Tackle to the double main shaft bearing, line roller assembly, and drive gear bearing(s) using the Marine & Tackle 1 oz. Needle Oiler.
Using a cotton swab, remove any additional debris and inspect spool assembly for damage.
Apply a small amount of Clenzoil Synthetic Reel Grease to the gears and spin the reel handle to disperse evenly.
Reassemble reel. Using Microfiber towel, wipe down exterior to remove any additional oil or debris.

I ran across this brand in some fishing reel maintenance videos on YouTube. I looked a little further into the company and its products and liked what I found -- a small American-owned firm that has been providing quality marine and firearms cleaning and lubrication supplies for more than 50 years. Their reel and firearms maintenance kits provide just about everything you need to keep your equipment rust free and in good working order. I recently had to contact the company regarding a support issue. An actual person answered the phone, and they were very cooperative in getting my issue handled quickly. That's all too rare these days. I'll keep coming back.

This is a pretty nice all in one kit. It has a microfiber rag, wooden cotton tip swabs, a GREAT pin point oil bottle, a nice fine mist cleaner/oil. The one thing I’m not so impressed with is the syringe style grease. It works fine, I’m just used to the more easier (for me) tube grease. Even with that one preference item I didn’t care for, it’s still a 5-star kit IMO. It’s now in my travel rod/reel case to be with me every trip I make.

Used this primarily for my freshwater reels, but it works great on saltwater ones too. The spray gets rid of the previous lubricant and allows you to apply new grease for the internal gears and oil to the bearings. I particularly like how the oil has a needle tip which allows you to put the oil exactly where you want it. The Q-tips help, but of course, they don't last so you need to invest in your own. The only downside is that the grease takes a lot of force to push out of the syringe, and fatigues the fingers.

I let my fishing reels go to waste by not taking care of them after many seasons of amazing fishing. I realized I need to start keeping them in tip top shape. This kit will help me (and you) keep my reels running smoothing for many years. Everything I need to maintain my reels. Must have for anyone who doesn't like to buy new equipment every year.
