Not sure what this would have cost to have an HVAC Tech install this but I'm guessing the service call would be more than what it cost to purchase this, and it fits/works perfectly. I will admit it wasn't me, personally, that swapped it out for the one that didn't work anymore, but Hubby had the old one out and the new one in in less than 15 minutes. I think it took longer to get the furnace open and then closed than it did to actually install. The day was HOT when we received it, but we had to make sure it ran, so run it we did!! Works like a dream! VERY SATISFIED with both the motor itself, and it was here in just a few days as opposed to the week it was expected to take, so that was awesome!

Installed very easy but motor did not last 3 months before bearing failed and the motor overheated.

Our Comfortmaker HVAC unit just stopped working suddenly. (It’s a secondary unit for our house, just for the addition.) There were no issues with electrical power to the unit or the thermostat, and we could hear a high-pitched whine from the unit l, which would then stop. The burners never came on. I turned the axle to the induction motor with my fingers… and it started running! Then the burners came on! However, the motor was insanely loud. The bearings must have gone out, leading the motor to seize.There are many places online to buy this motor, which replaces a ton of different models. I had to check a couple sites to make sure this also replaced the Jakel 119255-00. (There are probably 2 dozen models from different makers that this replaces.) This seller also had the best price, with Prime shipping.The unit comes packaged with the long screws and vent harness to install it. I didn’t use these, as I just used the screws and harness that secured the old unit. The wires and grounding wire were also a perfect replacement.Note: this unit did not come with instructions. Do not let that deter you! Seriously. You could do this with a flat head screwdriver, but I found a drill/driver made it very easy. Total job was under 10 minutes.

This has been installed for 3-4 months and is already getting loud and vibrating like the bearings are going out.

Furnace Draft Inducer Motor replacment "Not exactly the same as this one I needed" NOT Amazon's fault at all. So, Note: Project spec's: TempStar (international Comfort Products) furnace, Model N9mp2080f16b1, serial number A050990381. Inducer model: Jakel ICP 329148-701. When cross referenced found: Rotom RFB330 or ICP 117283 as a replacement. Called one Part source and they confirmed this was right part but they had a 5 day delivery so I ordered the part from Amazon. Another techincal source informed me to measure the inlet after it arrives, as this is a common problem so I had no choice. Nothing on the shelf anywhere and no one to talk to on a holiday weekend. So I made a decsion to move forward with Amazon as they had a 3 day delivery. Prime delivered in 3 days as promiced. I found the inlet dimension larger than the original part. After inpections older module was designed in 2 pieces and so was the new one. So its was up to me to decide: modify or return and find the right one. If you find one that fits this application let everyone know so they are not in the same shape as me. Good luck with your project hope this helps. Again I made the decision to cross referenceAmazon sent what I orderd. My advice Remove your's and measure the inlet then ask questions so you don't face the same consequences. you will need ID and OD dimensions to compair.

Item is as described and fit perfectly. Started up perfectly but the furnace didnt even make it through one cycle before the motor started heating up and making noises. It stopped working until it cools down. I will be returning it. I think I just got a dud.
