Keeping the PH level right in your pool is arguably the most important thing to maintain a bright clear clean pool. This product from Clorox is way cheaper than the pool store equivalent, even though the active ingredient is exactly the same (Sodium Carbonate). I use well water that PH level is super low, and this works great.

Clorox is a brand that can be trusted for spa and pool chemicals-but finding the right chemicals for a spa can be challenging. After using for 3 months in the middle of winter-Clorox® Poo & Spa™ Swimming Pool pH Up works great in our 375-gallon spa-BUT, you have to derive your dosage based on your spa size-so some math is involved. For 375-gallon spa, 2 ounces is the dose I arrived at to move the pH up from 6.5 to 7.0 +/-. That is nearly equivalent to 2 heaping tablespoons. Your dosage may be different. Purchased in this packaging is a great value to spa owners and will save you significant money over purchasing from your local spa dealer. Throw some cheap plastic measuring spoons in the bag and you'll be ready to go when you need to increase your pH. Happy soaking!

I'll try to keep this as short as possible, if you don't have a long attention span then just buy this and all Clorox spa products. You'll save a ton of money and you'll be happy. If you want to know a little bit more, read on.... When I bought my spa / hot tub it became apparent nearly immediately that a huge source of revenue for the stores that sell these are chemicals. They if you die or warnings then if you don't use their particular chemicals you will destroy the tub and your investment will wash down the drain. I fell for it, I purchased their overpriced rendezvous line until they stop selling rendezvous chemicals... And I mean everyone. The company that I purchased a tub from immediately assured me that they had saved the day and are going to be offering the same amazing chemicals made specifically for the tubs that I bought (Hot springs) with their own branding. I looked at the pricing and laughed... It was actually more expensive than the already outrageous cost of the specialty brand. While searching Amazon I found Clorox, the same Clorox that we all know and use in our houses for bleach. Maybe you use their countertop wipes... Bottom line is they're a great company and I trust them. So I bought their chlorine and I was thrilled when my tub didn't explode and ultimately meltdown into a pool of molten plastic. Could it possibly be true that the salesperson at the hot tub store lied to me in order to get me to continuously purchase overpriced chemicals? You bet. Every product I currently own right now is made by Clorox and it is perfect. I save at least 50% if not more off the cost of chemicals and they are far more generous in the quantity that they give you. You might get 32 oz for $40 with the specialty companies... Clorox will sell you several pounds of chlorine granule pool / spa product for the same price or less. My apologies for rambling on, I just hope that anyone who just purchased their new pool or spa and is contemplating buying these heinously overpriced items sees this and just tries Clorox. You'll be so glad that you did

Very easy to use instructions based on what the current pH of your pool is. You will need to weigh the product before adding to your pool so make sure you have some sort of scale that can do ounces. Will buy again.
