Rod was very simple to install with just a drill. My closet has plaster walls so I simply installed wooden boards where I wanted the bar to be placed. This made for easy installation and held the bar in place properly. It does tend to bow slightly in the middle but the thickness of this bar does not make even concerned that it will not hold. I included a photo to show the vast amount of clothes being held by this bar that has adjustable holes to make it fit in your closet. I chose the longer size bar so it would be more sturdy in the diameter. I would purchase this bar again. Be sure to measure your area before purchase and like I did, get a few sizes longer depending on your weight needs.

Like people mention, the tightening screw came painted shut so had to chisel it free. otherwise, easy to install and holds a row of my kid’s clothes.

It doesn't hold up at all, I wouldn't buy it again, I put a few clothes on it and it's already bent, I'm frustrated

So easy to setup. Set up by myself pregnant and had no issue! Def great for price! Very sturdy and fit perfect in the closet. Clean appearance and organized my clothes well.Only issue was one of the bars came dented so it wwouldnt go in - luckily I didn’t need the full extension size
